Design Statement: 

Throughout the design process we delved into the themes of confinement and breaking free, as well as showing love in all its different forms. Throughout the show we see the characters slowly make a transformation from being trapped and confined in society to becoming more open and free to be their true selves. Viola as a cleansing force is the catalyst for all of these changes. The journey our color palette and the lighting takes mirrors this journey from confinement to freedom.
